i had the opportunity to see Arnie play in a team event when I was 12 along with Jack and Gary. In the practice round there was a lot of f shots and laughing. Arnie came up to me at the edge of the ropes and started a conversation. He asked me if I played and how my game was. I sheepishly told him I wasn't very good and was trying to improve. He put his arm around my shoulder and told me that if I really wanted I could be great. I'll never forget his smile and the shoulder clasp he gave me that day. I played college golf because of his words and decided to become a golf professional in order to share my passion for the game. Arnie changed my life and I hope I can do the same for my students.
