The reason I play the game.

I never had the privledge of meeting Arnie. I also never had the joy of watching him play beause I was born after his playing days. However, I play golf because of how Arnie inspired people, and my grandfather is one of those people. He started playing because of watching Arnold Palmer at his best. Consequently, I began playing because my grandpa got me into this great game. So I am forever thankful to Arnie for that. I will be playing in the Western Pennsylvania Amateur Championship in a couple weeks, and just being able to play in a championship that the great Arnold Palmer won 3 times as a young man is such a great honor. Thank you Arnie for reminding me to "swing your swing", and for everything you did for our game.
